The Role of MICAL2 in Fusion Positive and Fusion Negative Rhabdomyosarcoma

Presentation of the project developed in the past months at KU Leuven University (Belgium) by the student of the College Roberto Piciotti. A brief insight on the role of F-actin dismantling protein MICAL2, directly involved in the prognosis of several cancers, followed by the report of in vivo gene perturbation using CRISPR/Cas9. The student, taking part in the programme Erasmus Traineeship, has been granted by the fund intended for foreign mobility of the Collegio F. Cairoli Alumni association.
