College Choir
Experiencing the College through music
Its heterogeneous composition encourages people to build relationships and grow together through music and culture.
Since its early years, the Choir has distinguished itself by welcoming numerous international students, giving them the opportunity to come into contact with the Italian language and culture and laying the foundations for collaborations that have resulted in international exchanges that have taken the choir to the University of Coimbra and brought the Oberhaching Chamber Choir from Munich to Pavia.
The choir collaborates with other amateur and professional orchestras and choirs, with a repertoire of pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. In recent years, in particular, it has developed a collaborative relationship with the Vox Silvae ensemble, conducted by Maestro Federico Perotti, and with Paola Barbieri, professor of piano accompaniment at the Vittadini Conservatory in Pavia.
The Choir rehearses once a week in the evening. If you're interested, you can write to the Facebook Page or the Instagram Page, making a request, and you will be informed of the date of the first available rehearsal you can immediately attend. No advanced musical knowledge is required, the Choir is also for beginners!
